We had such a great time at the Chicas Market CLT’s Spooky Halloween Night Market this weekend! Miss Erleen and Doña Carmen shared some juicy gossip and sipped some cafecito. There was music, there were costumes, and there were vendors bringing you all kinds of goodies. I was excited to bring Cuentos y Café back to Charlotte for another Chicas Market, this time with some added treats from Sarita’s Healing Hub.
Shout out to DJ Kamigo for keeping two pretend grannies vibing the whole night, to my girls for the last-minute granny costumes, the Chicas Market crew for planning such community-based events, and everyone who stopped by our tent and spread the book love.
Ohhhh, and a big thank you to @lujoluxestyle for the cute jumpsuit and @dessertsbyash__ for the chocoflan that I devouredddd!

¡Lo pasamos genial este fin de semana en el mercado de Halloween de Chicas Market CLT! La señora Erleen y Doña Carmen compartieron unos buenos chismes y tomaron un cafecito. Había música, disfraces y vendedores que ofrecían todo tipo de productos. Still smiling after Sunday’s Lovely Asheville Festival 🌞✨ It was such a fun, family-friendly day—perfect weather, good vibes, and so many wonderful folks stopping by to chat and browse books.
I even snapped a few photos of some of Cuentos y Café’s colorful titles (not a pro photographer, but I love trying to capture the vibrancy of the stories I get to share with the community 💛📚).
This is just a tiny glimpse of what we offer, but it fills me with so much joy to see these books out in the world.
